TYPE OF WORK: Website Design
COLLABORATED WITH: Emily Kihn

OBJECTIVE:
The assignment was to redesign the website for Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (http://www.mhave.gouv.ht/). The client desired emphasis on a news-oriented website that would be easy to update and manage. The objectives included organizing and prioritizing content and creating an intuitive, useful website for users of all cultures and languages to navigate easily.

APPROACH:
Through collaboration we decided to focus on a sleek intuitive design that made the content easy to navigate and access. The key elements of our design are the floating docks that remain in place. The top dock houses the global navigational system, whereas the bottom features a collapsible live news alert feed, as well as social media links that promote up-to-date news alerts and sharing functions. By assigning a color coded system to the website, we were able to give the user the ability to easily recognize what part of the site they were viewing.

With the creation of three distinct personas, we were able to demonstrate the functionality and flow of the website.
