TYPE OF WORK: Editorial Design
SPECIFICATIONS: 8.5" x 10.5"
COMPONENTS: Website

OBJECTIVE:
To design an editorial system for a magazine as well as curate all content including feature articles, departments page and an informational piece.

APPROACH:
VISTA is a fictional travel magazine that focuses on beautiful photography, enticing content and dynamic layout with unique elements that go beyond the page. Upon developing the design system for VISTA, I also relished in the role as editor, where I was able to select appropriate content to showcase the cultural activities and sight seeing locations in this European themed issue.

Featured monthly is a departments page “Shot On Location,” which focuses on the filming locations of a specific film, as well as an informational piece. This issue came with a double gate fold opener that visualizes data concerning the Euro currency.

FUN FACT:
Although born in London, I actually grew up in Gibraltar so as a homage to this fact, it became the topic for the second article feature.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
All photography was sourced from Flickr and I am in no way claiming them as my own. Purely used for academic purposes. A page crediting all content is included in the magazine.

SELECTION OF INSIDE VISTA:
